Competition Changes

The competition Katrina will be attending has been changed from the World Martial Arts Games in Switzerland to the WOMAA World Martial Games in Teleford, England. It is still in August and all fundraising past and future will go to this competition!

The rules in this competition will be more similar to the rules that Canadians are used to.

It's a Raffle!!

To raise the money needed to send Katrina Petersen to the WOMAA World Martial Games in Teleford, England, a new fundraiser raffle has begun.

The raffle is being hosted by Basketry Bug, (#2 - 910 Allowance Avenue, SE), a local Medicine Hat business. We are so thrilled that they were willing to help out and host the raffle; they even donated a beautiful second prize for us to give away!

Tickets are being sold at $5 each or 3 for $10. 

100% of the proceeds go directly towards sending Katrina to England!


Prizes are as follows:

First Prize: Only Green Mineral Makeup ($200+ retail value)

(Prize includes: A set of incredibly soft bamboo makeup brushes, mascara, makeup case, four different eye shadows, blush and powder foundation. All the packaging you see is bio degradable paper embedded with wildflower seeds - plant them in the spring and watch them grow!)

Second Prize: Popcorn Themed Basket (Donated by Basketry Bug)

(Basket includes: Popcorn tub, Popping Cobs, Dill Pickle Popcorn Seasoning, Gummy Bears, 4 Old Fashioned Candy Sticks, Chocolate Pretzels and more!)

Two winners will be drawn on Saturday, February 11th.

Gentlemen, the draw is the Saturday before Valentines; I'm sure your ladies wouldn't mind if you won them a stunning collection of high quality Only Green mineral makeup!

Kick-a-thon Fundraiser

The Kick-a-Thon Fundraiser in December went well, Katrina and her brother Ty raised a total of $248.00!!

This is a great start to Katrina's fundraising activities, but it is only a tiny fraction of what she needs! The fundraisers are going to continue in earnest over the next few months!
