Katrina Petersen of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada is eligible to attend the WOMAA World Martial Games in Teleford, England, which will take place in August of 2012. In order to compete in this competition she is raising funds for the training, gear and travel expenses that come with this opportunity. This blog will detail her efforts, explain ways that you can help and share any updates on the road to this amazing adventure.
Currently, Katrina is raising money for a kick-a-thon which will take place in Medicine Hat on December 16th. Sponsors may pay for kicks, (there are a variety to choose from), and Katrina will complete each kick paid for on the day of the kick-a-thon.
She is a very hard worker, dedicated to her sport, school and family.
